Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Learning about cyberpunk and post-apocalyptic settings made me sad (I don't really like them).

To each their own. I wouldn't say I'm a fan either, and I generally prefer brighter and happier stories (and the ending is sad...), but the anime caught my attention. I wanted to watch it after seeing the clip for "Melnitsa"))

Is it actually interesting?

The plot isn't anything special, I'd say, but it's good enough to watch while having a beer. Overall, I didn't feel like the action dragged on while watching. 30 episodes isn't that much. The characters are well-developed, although a bit one-dimensional. The atmosphere of the great coming of the white polar fox is conveyed. In general, it turned out to be a beautiful story. But the ending is vague. And VERY sad. Sniff.
