That's probably why people watch it.

These are episodic characters; half of them appeared in only a couple of episodes, and others died as the plot progressed. There aren't many of them, but the main character in short pants really loves to spout pompous nonsense and talk all sorts of rubbish about "revenge and hatred." No, the anime is not bad, but its advantages don't outweigh its disadvantages.
