The annoying Queen Biara.

Here's the question. Where exactly should I put the file so that the map is visible in a local network multiplayer game? I don't see this map in the list when playing online. Which folder should I copy the map files to?

If it's visible in the local network, then it's in the correct location.
1) The map must be present on both your computer and your opponent's.
2) Heroes used to have problems with network segments.
3) For online play, both players need to be on the same network. Hamachi or Garena can help.
