Why do I need books and religions? And especially followers?

1) Worldwide fame, recognition, the feeling that I lived a meaningful life.
2) I can make a lot of money.

What specific reasoning are you talking about? Because it's been a while since it turned into a discussion about my supposed stupidity.

I don't think I called anyone stupid, but whatever. Reasoning on topics "about the most important things" or something like that in a serious context with, to put it mildly, unusual points of view, sharply different from public morality, and without any objective logic. Some things are best kept quiet in broad circles. Of course, if you want to avoid appearing foolish in those circles, regardless of whether it's true or not.
