I didn't immediately understand the phrase correctly. Simply put, as far as I remember, I was looked down upon for some rather good qualities – intelligence, patience, calmness, and friendliness. Since then, perhaps only the first one has remained, but even that is questionable. I'm saying this because, in my opinion, outcasts are usually remarkable people.
