In a quick battle, which is not prohibited by the rules, a couple of Hydras and a couple of dozen Gnolls will do – it will work against a level 6-7 Thazar.

I lied, you need 3 of them. The Gnolls and 1 or 2 Hydras die. I don't know what it depends on.
