I decided to play a few games with some "Western" players to improve my communication skills (learn some specific terms and so on). After a couple of games, there were already some funny moments, but I want to tell you about the last one – it was quite amusing. I was playing on WCL with Wanderer, and it seems like "Blockbuster" is his favorite build. We played with a completely random map, but the interesting part was in one particular game moment: in the only treasure chest, his main hero got a Ring of Speed, but he didn't have time to pick it up, and my scout was nearby... On my turn, I, of course, picked up the ring (there are so few artifacts in this build anyway, and the opponent also broke his only Utopia because it was close to him), because any artifact is worth its weight in gold. Since the scout couldn't survive after the attack, I dismissed him immediately so that the ring wouldn't fall into the opponent's hands. And then the fun began... The guy started complaining that I "stole" his ring – he was like a real Gollum, saying "my precious." I was laughing and trying to make light of it, but the guy got really upset, started ranting about the incident, insulted me as much as he could (they're not very good at insults compared to us :smile52:), and left, saying that he would never play with me again, and that he would tell everyone on WCL how "awful" I am so that they would punish me. By the way, Valera (Loi) watched the final part of this game; we were testing Mikogo – he said it's a great program, and everything is clearly visible.
