By the way, regarding the apple – there's a very interesting parallel here. After all, God created man in his own image and likeness, therefore he knew about this quality (curiosity) and deliberately told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit.
If he is all-wise and all-knowing, then he made a huge mistake here, and all his wisdom went to waste; or maybe he wanted it that way – so that people would learn from their mistakes and achievements, and... judging by all accounts, our current life is normal for him, and there will be no Armageddon :)
