Well, I wouldn't say so; I like the face of the guy I played as in the first part more. By the way, I also found the female character in the first part more attractive than in the second part.
And I can't hide it; I love playing as the light side in KOTOR. If I want to play as the dark side, I open Disciples and play with my favorite arch-demon.
