We played in short, intermittent sessions. During one of them, I wasn't focused and made some silly mistakes: the plan was to take out the gnome mage with 2 nagas and a lot of kentaur, and then use the money to bring in more mages from home and kill the harpies. The gnome mage went down easily (offense, armorer with good stats), but I forgot to bring in mages for the harpies, attacked - there were almost 100 of them, goodbye boots, earth magic, offense, and armor :)
