More and more politicians are leaning towards the idea that mutants should be outlawed. This stance of those in power has caused a wave of outrage:
The opposition retaliated harshly against Hermit: he was chained to a pole and burned alive in the flames of a bonfire. The victim experienced hellish torment: even his enemies wouldn't wish such a fate on the bespectacled nerd. Because of the mask on his face, witnesses could not identify the killer, but some still hinted that he looked very much like the guy who loves water and enjoys swimming. A strange combination, isn't it?

Wesker: I've always been a skeptic and didn't fully believe what was happening to Kyle. I thought he had completely lost his mind, but apparently I was wrong. Whoever it was, he obviously came to me too. I don't remember much of what happened that night, only the horror that gripped me. I hope the authorities won't just sit back and do nothing? There is evidence: why are they inactive?

Siverfale: Complete nonsense: I'm lying in bed, not bothering anyone, but then the room smells of sulfur, and suddenly I'm on Liberty Island in just slippers and a nightgown! I don't know if this is related to what's happening now, but this can't go on: it's time to decide our fate.
