Best mapmaker of 2009 (Voting)

Things aren't entirely great here.
Options:
1. Many mapmakers are currently creating maps. There won't be enough time for the contest. (Trust me, I know!)
2. Allow these maps to participate in the contest.
3. The New Year is coming soon (this can be interpreted in two ways).
4. Students, to put it mildly, have limited time.
It's December, after all.
5. There are few participants.
