That's how it was. The map was generated with a bugged passage, and therefore the first battle happened very early. The respawn points were very poor, even for the balance... luckily, I managed to upgrade the land to an expert level. At the very last moment, I managed to replenish my mana and get 20 gnomes with a group, and that's how I managed to repel Tazar's attack, especially since I thought that the Beastmaster wouldn't have a spellbook on his second Fortress. Next, I took the Conservatory and went to the Treasury, breaking through a horde of Monarch Wyverns... They offered a pathfinding option, but I didn't take it, so the movement speed in the sands was very slow. The passage to the main Treasury was guarded by a crowd of Crusaders, and with the experience-based slowdown, I managed to kill them in one go. The Treasury turned out to be very poor: three minimum Nagabanks and several Hives with 24 Wyverns in total, plus I took one Cyclops. I was attacked once by a large group of Snipers, but they didn't get scared, and I lost about 30 Magogs. In general, in terms of money, the respawn points were even richer than the Treasury. With difficulty, I organized a chain, because Tazar was not far away, but luckily he didn't follow me to the Treasury. I went home, took a Nagabank, Rider's Gloves, doubled my mana in the Dungeon, built a GM5 and a GM4, and was going to go to my opponent, but he came to me. He had a monstrous stack of 56 Cows, probably with a speed boost from a spellbook and expert tactics. And for Tazar, they were probably very difficult to kill:eek: And I wouldn't have had any chances if it hadn't been for luck! I attacked with a Mage to check Tazar's parameters and resources, hit with magic, and the Mage died. Then I attacked with another Mage standing on the other side, and I see that the terrain is such that, despite Tazar's Ballista tactic and my 5th stack, the Cows cannot pass to the large left half of the field. I attacked with Peer from that side (I didn't have enough money for Devils, but maybe that was even good). With teleportation, the Cows did finish me off, but I summoned Elementals and still had a lot of mana left. I consciously took this step because I remembered a case when an opponent attacked Galtran in a castle and bought him off when I had Elementals left, and Galtran was sitting in the tavern the next day. Maybe the same thing will happen now. And so it is, Tazar bought himself out, and Peer is sitting in the tavern without anything. With the money from the surrender, I bought two Devils and boosted them. There wasn't enough time to take the secondary town. On the next turn, I bought what I could and attacked Tazar. A stalemate occurred in the battle. George offered a draw. The situation was as follows: if both heroes die, that's it, because in terms of economy and kingdom power, the opponent had a big advantage, and my only hope was in Peer's magic... Knowing that he had Wave of Death, it was risky to try to leave only a couple of Cows, although it probably would have worked. Still, the opponent had a lot of secondary towns, a huge income, two full-fledged cities, and I had complete poverty and zero resources, I probably only have enough money to buy Peer and hire one Demon :D, so I decided to agree to a draw. Thank you for the game!
