HELP! Heroes of Might and Magic II crashes when playing online.

Hello everyone! Please help me figure out what's going on. When playing via TCP/IP, our heroes keep disconnecting. They disconnect randomly, after different amounts of time, in different locations, both for the host and the client. We've tried using Hamachi and also playing without it. Different versions disconnect, including English pirated versions and the Russian Platinum edition (as well as the Gold edition). Sometimes it displays an error, but most often it just disconnects and that's it. What could be causing this? Which version are you all playing on, and where can I download it? P.S. We've also tried changing the compatibility settings in the shortcut.
