Pop music and your opinion about it.

Hmm, can I ask one rather bold question? :) Do you listen to music regardless of the genre, right?
There are people who only listen to one genre, either because they don't like other genres (which happens), or simply out of principle, saying they won't listen to anything but ##### (I myself used to only listen to metal :))!

The question is very modest. O_o
I listen to any music because I am naturally very curious. In this sense, I am an extremely unprincipled person: I don't care what genre a particular artist belongs to. I probably have pop artists in my collection. It's just that the word "Pop" has long become a generic term and no longer has anything to do with pop music itself.

And how do you determine if it's a low-quality imitation? :D
By the volume of sales? :)

In my opinion, an imitation is always lower in quality than the original. ))
