Well, some experienced players will switch to it, but what if the bugs in Light (I assume there are some) are fixed only if you (or those who have switched) play on TE-Full, with a full explanation that you are a retrograde and playing an unfinished version? Or will Vic's insatiable research interest prompt him to radically change TE-Lite himself (similar to the changes in the console version, or the changes Greym made to Pikedrama, etc.)?
