Volodymyr (Castle, Stronghold) def Neoandy (Castle, Stronghold), SoD[/B]

Andryukha sent me a Castle, and I started thinking about a plan for Dungeon-Stronghold, but then I changed my mind and removed Dungeon, resulting in a mirror match.

I remembered the Papacy strategy described above and decided to use it; I liked it.

We set up, started waiting, and on the turn of the monks, I cast Bless. My Cyclops were blinded. I killed 4 Archs, and then a barrage of Bears and Birds attacked my Ogres; the bolt attack deals 400 damage. I resurrect the Ogres, and the Archs kill one of mine (I think).

In the second round, the opponent's Archs move away. Bless is cast, and it starts to hurt (the bolt attack from 35 of the opponent's Birds works again), and I even get a little scared. I cast Healing, shoot, and it gets easier.

The Archs resurrect the Crusaders. There's an attempt to finish off my Bears (the bolt attack from the Birds works again; Neo was complaining about resistances). A simple Haste is cast on the Horses (it's unclear if they would have reached anyway), which leaves a Bear with 90 health. I calmly cast Blind on the Crusaders and start shooting.

In the 4th round, the opponent's Archs are waiting. Healing is cast, and the Ogres leave 12 Cyclops, and the Crusaders leave 3 Birds. I blind the Archs, smash my Bear into the Ogres, and replace them with Archers – it's a long way to the Marksmen again. GG.

Thanks for the game!

1-0 :)

I didn't analyze Tolyan's game, so I should have kept the Bow in mind, but I initially planned to camp with a mirror match. The first drawback is the terrain, and the Champions rest in the first round. The Griffins wanted to take revenge on the Birds so that they would then be swept away by the Archs, but Volodymyr's Birds were not skilled and didn't know about the bolt attack, and they also didn't know how to attack properly, so my Griffins didn't die from the counterattack. As a result, the first round was a failure. The Bears and Birds attack the Ogres, but the Archs resurrect half of the killed ones. Then, a good attack with Crusaders, Ogres, and Champions on the Archs, the second bolt attack from the Birds, and the situation is almost equalized. They should soon reach the Archers. But then there was a misunderstanding with the Champions. They should have been able to reach the Bears from a distance, but when their turn came, they were 1 square short . The choice was to either cast Haste and have 4 Bears fly in and hope for resistance from the Crusaders, or to disable the Champions but keep the turn for the Crusaders. I decided to take the risk because I needed to break through – the Monks and Marksmen were dealing a lot of damage with Bless. But the resistance didn't work, and the Crusaders miss their turn. There was also hope to rush 6 Archs to all three ranged stacks, but Blind also worked on them without problems, and the Bear was left with 57 health, and the catapult couldn't finish it off. Apart from the bolt attack from my Birds, all the "important little things" turned out to be on the side of the ranged units, which brought them victory.

We'll crush them in the next battle :smile13:
