I tested some maps created using an .rmg file, and indeed, there are cases where exiting one player's starting area leads directly into another player's starting area, which is, of course, well-guarded. As a result, one player only has access to the land of their starting area, while the other has access to the rest of the map(((
It's unfair, in my opinion. Maybe in such cases, the result of that game shouldn't be counted, and the players should be given the opportunity to replay on a different map?
Yeah, that can happen, but there are 2 restarts available (the option to start on a new generation), and then it's just luck... that's what randomness is for...:)
