regular "Sergeant" tournament

Looks like Friday the 13th started for me yesterday :D

That turned out funny.

In the first game, I captured 3 water mills and 1 windmill. I placed 1-6 in Citadel. Took Inferno and revealed 2 Griffin Conservatories with a Dragon Fly Hive. Good.
In the second game, I took a Medusa shrine and see that my Inferno is gone!!! Shakti showed up on Angels and started roaming near my respawn. I head toward the Griffin Conservatories: I take another Medusa shrine, capture a Conservatory for 2 Angels with minimal losses. Then I build up speed on an Angel and beat the Dragon Fly Hive guard, then to the second Conservatory — third level — I dropped Water Elementals, Fire Elementals, and Sprites there — very good. I also take a small Dragon Fly Hive. Total: 5 Angels, 50 Storm Elementals, 5 Psychic Elementals, and 4 Wyverns — a decent army, I'm not afraid of Shakti, but I make maneuvers and lure him to my respawn (otherwise he might run off somewhere). I make a miscalculation — I thought Shakti with Logistics on non-native terrain wouldn't reach me on Angels — but apparently he does catch me on the last tile. After thoroughly mauling the Dungeon army, I retreat (had no money for buyback). I save. On my turn, I would have forced Shakti to flee, and then the plan was: pick up the gauntlet, buy troops, and visit the blue player. The weekly growth of Dungeon would probably have been killed by just one Ciele's shooter dealing 180+ damage =)
