Clues are not given for failed kills, right? Meaning, if the killer was blocked (which naturally happens BEFORE the kill) - would the fact of the failed kill be mentioned? Like it is now with the attempt on me? Or is it only mentioned in case of protection? (i.e., essentially the action is performed AFTER the kill)

Clues are not given for failed kills.
If protection worked - this will be mentioned in the "newspaper".
In the event that someone placed protection on a player who was not targeted for an assassination - it will still be described in the "newspaper".

Hmm, apparently not everyone noticed that the rules differ slightly from previous games (I took the original version), and they quickly started casting their votes in favor of NNW, thereby bringing night closer.
Since not everyone knew this, I will make an exception for today - it will end after 24 hours.
Be more attentive in the future ;)
