If you take the average, unremarkable citizen, what else are they doing right now besides what's been mentioned? They're probably going to work. Saving up for an apartment with a mortgage. Maybe they're a father, already losing interest in his wife. Is that so much more? In fact, such a person perfectly fits the term "boor" mentioned above, doesn't he?
If one of the main drawbacks of a dying humanity is the reduction of leisure options, then that's... immoral, bad, I don't know how else to express it.

It's immoral and bad to take the average, unremarkable citizen. By the way, would you share your secret – where do you get them? And how do you determine it – by the sign on their chest that says "Average, unremarkable citizen"? (Of course, we are definitely not average, not statistical, and not unremarkable!). And please, decide something about the term "boor" – is its use immoral, or are there exceptions? Well, like in the case of the average... (well, you know what comes next).
