Stubbornness is when a person doesn't acknowledge any opinion other than their own, and principles are actions based on moral and spiritual upbringing that you consider to be right...
Principle - your friend has a girlfriend that you are crazy about... how will you act - will you fundamentally do nothing to get the girl...
Principle - again, the example of Arandor with the cookie - will you give the last delicious cookie to your friend or not...
