"The Art of Strategy," a section for reports.

Adv (Red, Humans, Axel, lvl24) defeated Hero_of_heroes (Blue, Humans, Rutger, lvl20) 1-4-5

From the start – Ellaine, Axel, third Victor... in the end the main hero – Axel.

The starting zone was microscopic, the first 2 weeks I leveled in the adjacent zone (lava) and the resource zone (swamp) at a fairly moderate pace, but with logistics...

Ellaine helped, having taken over treasury management, equipped with the Crown of the Leader and a Bag of Gold
and... of course Dougal, who came on Fever Week :smile14:
When Axel got Encouragement and Empathy (and already had Acute Mind) – he broke through the portal to the center... brought in the Incubi and the pace quickened...
All of the 3rd week he cleared the center and gathered artifacts, though he had to choose who to attack,
because he declined Light in favor of Darkness and Defense, and declined Machines in favor of the final adventure ;)

Good thing he found Slow along the way and finally got Darkness with Mind Master... then bought Blindness at the shop...
At the start of the 4th week he recalled home, learned Berserk and went to break through the underground entrance, which was dangerously close to the town, barely half a day's march away...
The guard was shoddy – 128 Kshatriyas on one side and similar ones of another grade on the other... and then the turn-based phase began...
During that turn, the opponent was breaking through the center, where at the exit there turned out to be some nasty guard... where he lost all the shooters :smile34: and most of the Incubi...
That's where the game ended...

Thanks to the opponent for the game, even if not finished with the final adventure :)

I confirm, in the first week there was an opportunity to buy Dougal, but I felt sorry for the money on a hero without an army, I hoped he would come the next week with an army, but as it turned out ADv came, too bad.... The second week turned out to be Fever Week, and I had only bought the shooters, so that week really messed me up... When I was breaking a passage into the adjacent zone, I didn't check the guard on the other side of the portal, and there turned out to be 22 Elven Blue Archers... That adjacent zone turned out to be a sandy one without roads... I sent a secondary hero there and went into another one, with almost every neutral encounter showing medium danger... So it's not hard to guess that I didn't go without losses, by the end of the week I found a passage into the resource zone, transferred the army and managed to break through the passage, there I found a Gold Mine, but it was guarded by Liches... I didn't risk it, but I did find a Bag and a Sack of Gold, though the Bag was guarded by Vampires and a few Druids, which caused losses again... After that, I finally went to the center, transferred the troops along with the trained Incubi and broke through the outer guard of the portal, after which the simultaneous turn phase ended. On the other side of the portal were Water Elementals, Mummies, and other minor things. I broke through with tolerable losses, but it turned out I couldn't enter the portal because there was more guard there, so I decided to break through it too. There it was a bit brutal... Phoenixes, Magi, Pikemen, Griffins, Skeletons... In this guard fight, I noticed an extremely smart computer – it broke a path to the shooters for the Phoenix and killed the single unit that could have blocked its path... once it reached the shooters, it was nothing for the Phoenix to take them down, the Incubi held out of course, but after these neutrals I no longer saw the point in continuing, so as not to waste time for either myself or ADv, given the obvious outcome...
