Who we beat and why!!!!
A bit of information about the number of guards that protect objects or artifacts. And the contents of Pandora's Boxes, depending on their guards...
As is well known, there are often situations where we lose too many troops or even lose everything with a hero, not knowing the approximate number of troops we are fighting...
I will try to shed some light on this topic and bring clarity to raise the level of play for our heroes players...
1. Always check the level of the guards!!!
Lower-level guards will be more numerous, higher-level guards—fewer...
2. Speed and health of units (attack, defense, and damage don't matter to us, we'll kill them all anyway)))!!!
The lower the speed of a unit, the more of them there are, and vice versa (exceptions are ogres and dendroids, there will always be more of them)))...
3. What exactly is being guarded (Utopias, Griffin Conservatories, Hives do not affect the number of guards)!!!
The level and importance of artifacts and caches influenced the number of units...
4. Upgraded vs. non-upgraded units (with upgraded units, their number is smaller than with non-upgraded ones)!!!
Now let's look at the picture in detail)))

In the 1st screenshot we see 20-49 gold golems guarding a Pandora's Box and only the Pandora's Box, which is important!!!
This is Jebus Cross; there, the number of guards is always set lower!!!
We take into account all the factors listed above, and it turns out there are 40-45 of them (42 to be exact)), and in the Pandora's Box there's gold or experience))
2nd screenshot: 20-49 vampire lords. Fast, low HP, 4th level, upgraded—there are no more than 30 of them; in the Pandora's Box, experience or magic of levels 2-4...
3rd screenshot: 50-99 gogs guarding a pile of sulfur and also a perk with extra weapon. There are at least 90 of them with an upgraded stack. In the Pandora's Box, there could be troops, 5k gold, or experience (they can only give magic of 1st level)...
4th screenshot: 50-99 elves. About 80 of them, possibly an upgraded stack; in the Pandora's Box, gold or magic, less often experience...
5th screenshot: 20-49 mummies guarding a Griffin Conservatory and a demon cache, plus a resource. There are 25-30 of them; the Conservatory does not affect the number, nor does the cache, since it doesn't need to be broken into...
6th screenshot: 50-99 harpy hags. Guarding a Pandora's Box and an artifact. Fast, 2nd level—there are at least 70 of them; in the Pandora's Box, experience, since they guard an artifact for gold...
7th screenshot: 10-19 Wyvern Monarchs. Guarding a Pandora's Box and a scroll. 6th level, fast, upgraded. There are at least 15 of them, since the scroll could be level 3-5. In the Pandora's Box, troops or gold, less often experience...
8th screenshot: 20-49 liches. Pandora's Box and artifact, upgraded. There are 24 of them, since the Conservatory does not affect it, the artifact is not particularly strong; in the Pandora's Box, magic or money...
9th screenshot: 20-49 evil eyes. Basic ones, there is an upgraded stack; they guard a Pandora's Box, a pile of resources, and a magic perk. There are at least 40 of them; in the Pandora's Box, experience, money...
10th screenshot: 10-19 scorpicores: we already know the deal. Good artifact, the cache needs to be broken into. But there are only 12-14 of them))
11th screenshot: 20-49 ogres: a Pandora's Box, a mill, non-upgraded. There are 40-49 of them, since they are slow. In the Pandora's Box, experience, gold, less often magic...
12th screenshot: 10-19 basic cyclopes. Ranged units!!! There are 12-14 of them, high level. In the Pandora's Box, troops, magic...
Sometimes on Jebus Cross you encounter so-called troop layouts, where Pandora's Boxes give troops...
This often happens with Castle, Rampart, Inferno, Fortress, Barbarian...
Sometimes it's just gold, but that's down to luck...
I hope my article has raised more answers than questions...
Criticism and additional info are welcome, Derty, no fuss)))
