It's just idiotic; it's generally inconvenient. VKontakte is a terrible website; they don't think about poor, unfortunate spammers who want to attack someone's chat. They could have made it all normal for them, with everything from top to bottom, on one page, and even a link to a text file with the chat history, and they shouldn't hide the wall.
