Not exactly...
Well, I admit, I realized that Hermit was going to be eliminated... And there was a chance that it would be Kyle - so why kill him, he's going to die anyway... It was a gambit, if you understand. It took a lot of effort to send someone to kill Hermit, but it was all done with mutual consent. It seems it worked - we killed two Mafia members with one blow. Then I really made a mistake when I suggested out loud that Kyle was a Demonologist. Unfortunately, the evidence didn't seem convincing to the town.
When you were trying to convince me that you would be killed tonight, but nothing would happen to me, and that we should vote against Arandor, not Kyle, I thought you were being sincere with me. No tactic, and this is definitely not the best one, can justify the immorality of your actions!!! Even if you thought it was the best option, and it wasn't, you should have told me about it! I was your comrade, how could you use me???!!! And without my consent, you had no moral right to do that, even if you think I'm a fool!!! Okay, Kash, be happy, you managed to use me this time, but not because you convinced me that Arandor would try to kill you, and Kyle would be checking someone's status, but because I didn't believe you were capable of such a thing! I simply didn't allow myself to think that, even though the thought was there... But if we ever play in the same Mafia again and have an equal role, I won't even ask for your opinion - I'll just send my night kill request to the GM, and then he can decide by drawing lots or something else, and you won't be able to pull this trick on me again. Look for other pawns!
Hermit, you're wrong. The decision of who to eliminate is initially reached by the group. It's just that often someone makes a suggestion, which others support. And also, there's an unspoken rule (the GM answered the Mafia this way) - the head of the Mafia has the final say.
And regarding who goes to kill - the situation is the same. Either collectively, or someone volunteers. There's no order. Your candidacy was apparently suggested because you hadn't killed anyone yet - you were given a chance to try. It was something like that.
P. S. And this tactic is far from the best. It's better to guarantee killing one Mafia member with one shot, i.e., Kyle, without losing your own, than to do it this way.
