A short tournament lasting 2-3 days would be better. I think it's worth the trip just to meet everyone.

It's very difficult to fit everything into 3 days, plus I'd have to take time off work. 2 days is completely unrealistic. Therefore, unfortunately, a minimum of 2 weekends, and more likely even 3.
