Hermy, you're wrong :) The decision about who to eliminate is initially made collectively. It just often happens that someone makes a suggestion, which others support. Also, there's an unspoken rule (as the GM explained to the mafia) - the final word belongs to the mafia boss.
And regarding who goes to kill - the situation is the same. Either collectively, or someone volunteers. There is no order. Your candidacy was apparently suggested because you hadn't killed anyone yet - you were given a chance to try. That's how it was, I think :)
Well, I admit, it became clear that Hermy would be eliminated... And there was a chance that Kyle would be the one - so why kill him, he's going to die anyway... :) It was a gambit, if you understand. It took a lot of effort to send someone to kill Hermy, but it was all by mutual agreement. It seems it worked - we killed two mafia members with one blow. Then I really made a mistake when I suggested out loud that Kyle was a demonologist. The evidence didn't seem convincing to the town, unfortunately :D
