Playoff games are a kind of determination of the strongest among equals, so the tournament rules do not apply to them, i.e., there is no prohibition on attacking the opponent's city before the 4th week! From the first day of the game, there is a struggle for survival. As for the draft, this scheme is not new and has been used in various tournaments for a long time - one of the opponents, for example, writes eight races and then another eight races, i.e., 2x8. After that, the first of those drafting crosses out one race from this list, copies the remaining list, and sends it to the opponent. The opponent crosses out two races, also copies the remaining list, and sends it back. Now, each player crosses out two races, and so on until each has only one race left, which they will use to play the game.
Races can be crossed out from either your list or the opponent's list.
The one who won the personal match in the group stage starts crossing out races!

By the way, are the map generation parameters for the "Smile" template the same as before? I.e., "size - Huge"?

The size is Large - immortal indicated this in his post where he uploaded the template; read more carefully. Otherwise, everything is the same.
