Animal Farm

Only one specimen of Arandor has survived in captivity. (In the wild, they are practically extinct). Arandor is so rare that it is not even listed in the Red Book. Arandors were doomed by their pride – instead of approaching a suitable member of the opposite sex and suggesting they reproduce, Arandors stood silently with their arms crossed. The pose was certainly beautiful and picturesque, but it led to catastrophic results. The remaining Arandor should, of course, be cherished and protected, although some believe that it would be better to strangle it – no Arandor, no problem.
