The fight was tense :smile10:

Week 1: Near the stable, a prison guarded by 20+ Harpy Hags on the side - lost a few dogs and goblins - that damn Ayden showed up with twenty Demons:mad: Lots of gold scattered about, the path up is again blocked by 20+ Harpy Hags behind the obelisk - I go around...:mad: there is one Griffin Conservatory, I'm considering a restart. On day 113, my own Terek already comes out of the prison, the pass to the green secondary is guarded by 20+ Ogre Magi - a bit scary, and then the scrub reveals half of my spawn with an overview - there are 2 more Griffin Conservatories and a Behemoth external dwelling :smile44: I ignore the secondary, run to the external dwelling, on the way 3 free defense upgrades, knocked over some chests. On day 116, I hit a boar horde and enter the external dwelling. In the ranks: 3 Birds, 1 Bear, 40 Hobgoblins and 10 Dogs + 5 Orc Chieftains. Due to the damn morale, I lose everyone except the birds and bears - pretty good overall. At home: 1-2-5-7 in the castle + a Behemoth dwelling :smile41:
Week 2: Critically short on gold. I take 4 Bears, 5 Roc + a screen and into the first Griffin Conservatory - minimal :( But the enemy got the Log :rolleyes: On the second day, I run into the second Griffin Conservatory already with 5 Griffins, 7 Rocs and 1 Angel - tier 3, lost all birds and 1 Bear :mad: The Angel has 7 HP left. Then I take the mini-pendant and another mini-Griffin Conservatory. I break back home to buy a spell book and use the stables, then head for the green secondary. That is, Conflux. The metro is nearby - I stand on day 127 on Angels at the stable.
Week 3: Here on the second day we traded Automatons (the opponent lost his Minotaurs, and I lost an Angel for nothing). Against the enemy's 60 Liches, which only shot at the Bears, I had to sacrifice one :mad: I take the shield +5, then the sword +6 from the Horned Demons, then the sword +11 from the Wraiths :cool: From the Troll horde I get 20 Cerberi from a Pandora's Box. Losing only single units on 7 Phantom Dragons, I take the maximum Hive. Then I break into Conflux and the scrub loses 1 Angel on Genies while taking the Sphere of Air :mad: I head for the swamp treasure zone - there's a mini-Hive, I took the Cloak of Abnegation just in case, planning for Dragon Utopia.
Week 4: The Pandora's Box gives all level 5 spells. Missed the Sphere of Earth at the very bottom :( The Dragon Utopia on 2 Dimension Doors falls easily, but besides the shield +12, nothing worthwhile was given (Boots of Levitation, total crap). In the Den of Thieves, Crag Hack has better stats, but the army strength fluctuates:smile32: I decide to play it safe with magic, run for the helmet +10, and at the same time the scrub takes the Sphere of Earth. Good - Implosion does 1.6k damage. On day 147, I spot Gretchen with a Power of the Dragon Father above - I can't reach him and run to the waterfall.
211: Gretchen runs to my castle, but falls a couple meters short. Crag Hack with 300+ mana, upgraded Bears, Rocs, Wyverns, and all sorts of other crap I could afford (sold everything down to zero...) attacks. The red player has as many as 400 Master Grems and 43 Wyverns :eek: Gretchen casts Implosion and takes out 2 Bears, in response I cast mine - takes out 260 Master Grems. I stand all units still, the opponent also hit with Meteor Shower and bought back :smile10: 35k gold was just right :)
212: My turn to attack - I buy all units and head towards the red player - fall just short of the main castle.
213: I take the main castle, and the swamp secondary. Killed a few scrubs.
214: Gretchen ran down to my swamp treasure zone, where an artifact for 15% magic resistance and a Pandora's Box remained. On the very last tile, with Fly and Dimension Door, I finally catch the enemy:

First turn, I cast 1.7k damage on the Wyverns - half fall. The red player casts Mass Haste and hits the Harpies and Behemoths. On my turn, the Naga Queens and Giants die from the Bear's claws... another Implosion on the Gremlins - they die. I finish off everything left. 4 Naga Queens are resurrected. Afterwards, 24 Golems remain - I get Armageddon'd. Only 2 Angels, 5 Bears, and the small fry remain. Gretchen goes to the tavern...:smile34:
