I've decided to organize a qualifying tournament in Barnaul (with Novosibirsk as an alternative, which we can discuss). Therefore, I have a few questions for the respected online players. 1. Who would like to participate? The financial costs are as follows: Today, I checked the prices in Barnaul. A room for two at the "Altai" hotel (in the city center) costs 800 rubles. Or a single room for 550 rubles. The toilet and shower are in the hallway. There are rooms in the same hotel with a toilet and sauna, but they are more expensive. Playing at the club from 9 am to 10 pm costs 240 rubles. A good lunch at a cafe costs 100 rubles. The minimum cost per day is: Room: 400 rubles Club: 240 rubles Food: 200 rubles Drinks: 160 rubles TOTAL: 1000 rubles per day Plus the train/bus fare to and from Barnaul. Once we decide on the date, I will create and provide a link to a schedule. 2. What dates are most convenient for everyone? We can start from January 3rd. 3. I propose a TE-lite format, with a limit of 1800+300 with battles. The players from Barnaul are in favor. I'd like to hear what others think. Reducing the SOD (Simultaneous Order Duration) to 2 minutes won't significantly speed up the game because time doesn't pass in the SOD during battles. Also, it's not realistic to transfer troops along the chain in 2 minutes; maybe the Chinese can help, but it's not guaranteed.
