[ANOTHER FLAME WAR] Are dragons overpowered or not?

I was watching TV, and scientists practically proved that dragons could have actually existed. They could fly and breathe fire. But then they all died out... (((

And I recently saw that scientists have established that, given the dragon's structure, it would be impossible to fly and unlikely to exist... So, who should we believe?
