[ANOTHER FLAME WAR] Are dragons overpowered or not?

What amused me the most was that you could later encounter your own, painstakingly created creature in another game.

Do they carry creatures over to other games in the Spore series? Or do they just randomly place them on another planet? I've encountered the latter, and I didn't like it at all... It's not interesting to fight your own creatures anymore.
I find it amusing how the creatures dance and sing when they want to impress. It's a bit of a primitive representation, in my opinion, although it's hard to implement the idea in any other way.

and then a cute wolf comes along and eats everyone!

*I imagined a wolf eating a dragon, which is a hundred times bigger... Although, after seeing one scene from Wolf's Rain, I wouldn't be surprised by that.*
