I'm actually impressed by the atmosphere of Heroes of Might and Magic - despite all the cartoonishness and jokes, the game turned out to be interesting, atmospheric, and captivating, not a parody. Serious graphics are also good, like in Disciples - it's hard to get more serious than that, and even one Tiamat makes me shudder. It's better to have a lot of different things to suit everyone's taste.

P.S. At least the graphics used to be bad, but they still tried to make it good.

That's just a modern perspective. I still really enjoy looking at the phoenixes and unicorns from Heroes of Might and Magic 2. For that time, it was the most amazing graphics.

And in Heroes 5, I would remove the cartoonishness. Make everything serious.

Yeah, the cartoonishness doesn't really fit there, and tweaking the colors and appearance wouldn't hurt. At the same time, turning it into Disciples, in my opinion, is also not necessary.
