Don't think I'm so dumb that I wouldn't notice an attempt at a joke. In this case, I consider that joke inappropriate. Every joke has a grain of truth in it. From your posts, I gathered that you could seriously start a confrontation over nothing, out of the blue.

Views on science — they drive and develop it. Churning out identical "Original" crafts to cater to an undiscriminating herd for personal enrichment — that's a hard no. Simultaneously corrupting and distorting the original sources.

Again, there's generalization here. Those who write this stuff and rake in money hand over fist — naturally, they can't offer fresh and original things; they're already being fed well enough. But there are enthusiasts who come up with everything for their own enjoyment. There are those who genuinely strive to bring something new and interesting to evolve the genre.

We didn't deny it. But you accused me of being narrow-minded and lacking perspective, ignoring what I had said about your own point of view several posts earlier.

Yeah. You said that only your theory is valid, and all facts contradicting it have no right to exist. A fact is a fact, no matter how dumb and primitive it may be. If it doesn't fit the theory, the theory should be reconsidered.

Well, that's Revan, known for creating threads to spam up. I'm sure he never intended to start a flame war; the guy wanted to have fun himself and entertain the crowd. Again — you're judging a person without knowing them.

Oh, holy and offended innocence, yet in every post threatening to ban everyone, scold them, and telling people what to do, justifying it all to yourself and others with a pseudo-joking tone and periodically whitewashing yourself with words — "I'm actually a good person."
It's just that not everyone likes such jokes, got it? Especially ones that are so repetitive and identical that they've even gotten on my nerves. And after all that — that same offended innocence, right? That feeling of absolute and unfairly slandered spiritual purity?
Meanwhile — the moderator position usually attracts scumbags or starry-eyed types. And a truly effective moderator belongs to the first type of people, whether deep down internally or outwardly visible to others.
And if you've created such an impression of yourself before a stranger — me — that can only be changed by a direct refutation like "don't worry, I'm good" — then something's been done wrong.

By many? Sure, sure. The entire TES series is garbage? Sure, sure. Again trying to pass off your IMHO as an absolute truth. Speak for yourself and your own opinion. Others can speak for themselves. If TES is garbage, then why is Oblivion the best game of 2006?

What else can you expect from someone unable to defend their point of view? Only a bailout and a final "I'm still d'Artagnan, and you all..."

Oddly enough, I agree with him. We present facts, while you stubbornly dig in your heels and keep droning on about the same thing, ignoring the statements you have nothing to respond to, and actively stirring up an interpersonal conflict — despite having accepted an apology and supposedly closed the topic. Anyone's patience would run out.

P.S. There's always someone who jumps into a discussion with a meaningless comment, like "hehe, get some popcorn!!" or, as in this case, a picture. What is it — a lack of manners? A desire to draw attention to oneself? Or some kind of prophetic "putting the overzealous nerds in their place"?

I don't understand how a harmless and even amusing remark can trigger such a violent reaction.

I'll say it again: If you don't like it here — no one's keeping you. Just don't post here. There's no need to start flame wars and try to prove your superiority over us. I'm not saying we're all good and proper, but we're used to this style of communication. We're not going to change anything for you. Or do you still want to go to Tula with your own samovar?
