Also, it will make it more difficult for his troops to leave the Fortress, especially if you use your ranged units to repeatedly pressure the gates with some of your troops. Warriors can do this effectively and hold him for a couple of rounds without any problems. In that time, the archers and druids will die, and most of his army will be destroyed. You can even taunt him by saying that you will kill him even in his own Fortress. ;)
