[ANOTHER FLAME WAR] Are dragons overpowered or not?

The dragon is reading a book. The dragon is sitting on the floor. The dragon attacks a guard.
Just the same boring creature, laying eggs. Engaged in various everyday activities.
And so what? I don't quite grasp the diversity. Unless, of course, it lies in the multicolored nature I mentioned.
