It's not just that it can't be expanded; any decent genie, upon hearing such a request, would simply laugh, give the greedy loser a kick in the rear, and calmly leave. This also applies to the following point:

why doesn't anyone ask for Omnipotence?

Remember: if a genie does help you expand your wish limit or calmly grants you omnipotence, it's a bad genie who will take your greedy soul away at the first sign of trouble.
You could even move this to "useful tips," although I try to avoid mysticism there.

As for "stereotypical" dragons, it's just funny. Dragons are mostly the same. Some lizards can talk, and some can't. That's pretty much all the differences.
