Many want to play what the developers created, not something someone else came up with, claiming to be an "improvement."
Game development (which, among other things, includes map testing) is an incredibly complex process that also needs to be supposedly completed by a set deadline!!! Any modern computer game is imperfect by definition and is then painstakingly refined and balanced over time – even in single-player mode, let alone multiplayer!
Here are two examples: Lineage and WoW :)
How many versions and patches have they had? Oh yeah, that's from the developers! :) But pardon me, they charge money for subscriptions to the servers for that ;) But Heroes isn't any less complex in terms of possibilities than Lineage, so why should it be frozen because its creators are no longer around? :smile22:

What the heck
People who don't understand that there will be no compromise between conservatives and those who want to implement new features are fools.
Stop this pointless, repetitive argument for the hundredth time.
Because of two SoD enthusiasts, there won't be another selection round from Moscow; either play like the majority, or don't play at all.
Maybe they are fools, but sooner or later, the majority of players will switch to the new features, although I agree that this process won't be smooth :smile08:
And then let the remaining players figure out what to do.
For now, without investment and with minimal informational support, the spread is happening very gradually, but it is happening :) The idea has already been voiced – the stronger the player, the more tolerant they are to the new features, so let the desire to improve their skills serve as an incentive!..... :smile15:
