The situation is straightforward in this matchup. Deidra can cast mass plague 5 times, while Axel can remove it 4 times. To avoid this, I recommend not clustering archers and paladins. Berserk is usually a mistake (it consumes a lot of mana and is easily removed by paladins), except perhaps when Deidra's troops are close enough for a precise shot. Then, it might be effective against archers. But in the end, I think vampirism is a better option.
