An interesting question: is it right to scold a young person for getting mediocre grades in their diary?
Well, I don't know. I was scolded a lot until the 10th grade, very harshly, but it only helped a little. I still didn't feel like studying; I wanted to play games, watch movies, etc. Only in the last quarter did I suddenly improve my results to pass into the 10th grade. :) And in the 10th grade, I started studying non-humanities subjects very well, and I almost stopped getting C's. And no one seemed to care about the grades in literature, labor, art history, and physical education (which I completely ignored and barely attended); they stopped looking at my diary altogether. They only asked about the grades at the end of the quarter.
