I just tested it, with minor errors for Deidre using spells (once, she attacked directly instead of using mass plague). It took a while to cast Berserk on the archers; the paladins went in immediately after Deidre. When I finally managed to do it, they attacked the remaining adepts instead of the latons. In general, Axe won.
In short, the potential of this pairing lies in Deidre's gameplay.
