1. Should all string data of the map be in a specific language? (Can I write everything in English, or must it be in Russian? Or at least the description in English?)
2. Which hero names should match the nicknames on HeroesWorld – only the player's heroes, or can computer heroes also be included? Or should all heroes be according to the map's specifications?
3. Are the victory and defeat conditions in the map regulated?
Separate question 4. Is it possible to modify a map (replace def filenames via a hex editor so that they look like one object but are actually another, example of such a map is !Nl.h3m, though it's for WoG, but def replacement can also be done for SoD) or the game (add a modified table data file for HoMM along with the map, which the user would put into the data folder while playing this map and then remove)?
Regarding question 1: it is preferable to write in Russian, but English is not prohibited either.
Regarding question 4: for the first part of the question, the answer is yes, it is possible; for the second part of the question, the answer is no, it is not recommended (unnecessary inconvenience for players).
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth...
