One of the few games on the small map where Kyrre, thanks to her logistics, pulled me out of a complete mess. And the boots with gauntlets turned her into Super Mario too :)
We played in several sittings; I remember we rerolled for a long time. Eventually, out of rerolls, I got a start with two vertical brown corridor paths going up and down, one of which led to ГО. But thank god, 15 elves from the start and I see a tree, which gives hope. Just below the castle is a Griffin Conservatory, just above - an external dwelling of wood (never took it until the end of the game). Quickly ran to the Castle secondary hero, near it another Griffin Conservatory and a Naga Bank, and that's basically it, then chains back and forth off-road. In short, no tempo at all; on one day, I was 500 gold short to insert Pegasi, what a shame - would've been fine if it were crystals(( Result: first week 1-6 at Citadel, in the secondary a thousand.
Second week, I take the 1st Griffin Conservatory, the Naga Bank level 4 - the moral Nagas killed 5 archers and only 20 of them remained, so I didn't go for the 2nd-4th Griffin Conservatory, but dive into the underground near ГО. There, to the left is the opponent's secondary - also Dungeon, to the right is the treasure zone. I headed there.
On day 131, I shipped the army home - Damacon took the Griffin Conservatory (2) and Kyrre with three angels and support from Fiona started breaking trees. I hung around in the underground treasure zone, gathered a total of 16 Wyverns - all beehive mines, took 3 external Manticore dwellings :), a gold mine, found boots and Fly, and emerged from the underground near my own secondary!
I see Shakti at the end of week 3 heading into the treasure zone from the underground onto the dirt, which I have no access to! In a hurry, I build the guild and run to the cliffs, preparing to fly over them a bit above where the blues are likely hanging out! Along the way, I found a collar +3/+3 spellpower (very timely!), a well (70 mana), and a Cyclops stockpile offering 4 each.
On day 141, after collecting resources and picking up the gauntlets - I fly into the treasure zone. I take 2 Pandora's Boxes behind bone dragons - 5k experience and the entire fourth floor, thankfully I already had Wisdom and Earth! The same turn, I find a Dragon Utopia - minimal loot (cap +6 to all stats, sword +2/+2, and some other junk).
Day 142, I have mana left for either Fly or Town Portal. I Town Portal to the secondary and again run through the well to the walls, this time a bit higher, and mana is already 130.
Shakti is not there, so I calmly clean the top of the treasure zone, and from home I build a chain to the blues' underground secondary. After a few skirmishes with weaklings, I manage to push the ranged army led by Damacon (expert Offense and Archery) but not towards the secondary - I set the main town as the target! Mama Kyrre has already gotten quite fat - gathered 55 ducks, all slots upgraded, money for army buyback. I really want to quadruple mana in the blue castle on day 211:) But Damacon doesn't reach by a few hexes and only on day 212 runs into the empty blue capital, next to which Shakti is standing :confused:
Mama has just enough mana for 1 Town Portal left, but the driven-out Fiona is recruited, and there's a well nearby shining; she checks Shakti and makes the decision to attack!
Kyrre level 23, 21-23-18-15 (276) - 3 angels, 55 wyverns, 14 unicorns, 12 scorpicores, 33 pegasi, 55 elves, 60+ dwarves.
Shakti level 19, 13-20-20-5 (320) - 1 angel, 16 manticores, 47 hydras, 49 evil eyes, almost 500 regular Troglodytes and 30 advanced ones, 73 harpies.
Battle.
Deployment with tactics in the top corner - medusas and eyes are blocked. First thought is to cast Rain on the entire 700-strong mob, but there's a cloak:( . Nothing to do - I cast Mass Slow and approach everyone right up close, the angels take out 30 basic Troglodytes. In response, I get Mass Haste and in the second round, all the underground horde stacks hit the wyverns, the angels remove the retaliation, and the Troglodytes almost kill all the elves. I hit the shooters, and they fire back from the Bow of the Sniper :o
In the third round, I cast Cure on the wyverns and they smack the Troglodytes hard. Then it's a slugfest and lightning bolts. The wyverns kill the Troglodytes, and the rest finish off the shooters. Victory!:smile19:
