The Dwarves' initiative is rather low. When I play as Naadir (he's my favorite hero), the Dwarves are easily defeated by Necromancers with black magic. I've never considered the runes to be a source of strength. Well, the energy rune is okay, and the dragon rune too, but how do you think the Dwarves will cope with the Necromancers' vastly superior forces? Machines look ridiculous here. Cast Dispel, and that's it – the Dwarves turn into minced meat. The only threat comes from dragons with luck, but luck can be drastically reduced. With Naadir, you can't revive corpses, pikemen with mages get blocked, undead with vampirism eat up the warlords, spirits equal dragons, and vampires easily deal with the rest. And you still call Dwarves a strong race?
2. So, you think the Necromancers' initiative is higher than the Dwarves'?
3. You didn't consider the Dwarves' runes to be a source of strength??? Can I ask if you've ever played with Dwarves? Their runes are among the strongest racial abilities! The rune of incorporeality, resurrection, battle rage... The list goes on, and explaining the actual great benefit of each one would take even longer.
4. Of course, we're not talking about machines. But who says you have to use them? Only on small maps, and then the Dwarves really lose many of their advantages.
5. Can I ask how the pikemen and mages are supposed to block? Are you unaware that it's not that easy to block archers against a player who knows what they're doing? Now it's clear where these judgments come from – from playing with unskilled players.
