“Bydlo-box,” “zombo-box,” and other similar words usually refer to the portion of airtime when they show low-quality TV series and programs. But if they show a great movie on a channel like STS, does that make the movie bad?
Our radio engineering professor is quite familiar with LURK slang. He likes to end a long story about transistors and microchips with the phrase “that’s the deal,” and he’s told us more than once to “look it up on the internet,” and a couple of times he’s even cited British scientists. Overall, he’s a fun guy.
