Confirmed.
We played with a long break, and when we continued (at 115), I tried for a long time to understand what I was doing in the first few days. It turned out that I did nothing, only took a Mage Guild and 2 Necropolises, and Nila was only level 3. I had to try harder, ate two Dwarven Mines, put a Naga in the Citadel, and Nila is already level 7 (Logistics and Earth), but I didn't take a secondary town, and broke through the wilderness to the grass.
In the second game, I took Rampart; there was a Stable, and I tried to take a Treasure Chamber, but it was small and poor (no good resources). I went back, broke through to the rocks, and caught Kreg with two Angels on the run. Two morale boosts in the first round (on Goblins and Mages). The Barbarians retreat to their capital.
Here, I rushed; I should have eliminated all the opponent's weak units and retreated to my Rampart, or even to Tower, as the chain constantly maintained a connection with the capital.
I attacked the opponent in his main city and predictably lost.
