I don't know about others, but if my report isn't confirmed, I would take it as a sign of disrespect. Personally, I think it wouldn't be difficult for someone to quote my post and write a few lines. If I don't submit the report immediately, I try to send a link to the report in ICQ so that my opponent doesn't have to search for it for too long. I personally don't just not support this, I'm against such cancellations. IMHO, we are adults, if we sit down to play a ranked game or a tournament, we should know what we're getting into and be kind enough to confirm in case of a loss. It seems simple and logical.
