What kind of nonsense are you guys writing:smile51:
In my games, even though I am also a relative newcomer, the Goblin faction wins practically without losses on week 3 in 90% of cases, and on week 2 in 20% of cases.
The problem with mages without restrictions is not that they will be chosen as starting heroes, but that if you get a mage as one of your heroes, then in 99% of cases it will be a rush on week 2 - a hit-and-run with the mage, and then finishing off with the main hero. And that is what is imbalanced.
Solmyr's damage of 200 is somewhere around 113. But on week 2, it will be close to 1000. Where will all your angels be then?
Is it difficult for mages to capture conservatories and utopias? Not at all, you just need to have a couple of good spells - blind, light bolt, resurrection-summon elementals (for utopias).
Playing mages without restrictions? Why should there be such an easy mode! Learn to build a good economy, everyone.
Oelm, you wrote a lot of interesting and informative things about mages. I'm looking forward to seeing your posts confirmed in the game, so I would really like to see you in the tournament :smile02:
